Microchip Institute Of Information technology is a Training and Exam Center(Center ID: ALKAMU35392) of NATIONAL DIGITAL LITERACY MISSION. A Government of India project. Objective of this course is to make a person IT literate, so that he/ she can operate digital devices, like mobile phones, tablets, etc., send and receive emails and search Internet for information, etcNATIONAL DIGITAL LITERACY MISSION(NDLM) TRAINING OPPORTUNITY
Under the National Digital Literacy Mission, at least one person from each family to be made digitally literate.All the households where none of the person in the age group of 14 to 60 years are IT literate would become eligible for consideration under the Scheme.
The eligible households can nominate one person from their family.Trainings will be given to illegible families at the Common Service Centres (CSCs).The selected person to get himself enrolled under this programme in a nearest Training Centre/ Common Service Center (CSC).Course and Duration
- 20 Hours (Minimum 10 Days and Maximum 30 Days) training in Level-1 Course.
- 40 Hours (Minimum 20 Days and Maximum 60 Days) training in Level-2 Course.
For SC/ ST/ BPL Households, no training fee to be payable and for General candidates, course fee of Rs. 125 is applicable for Level-1 and Rs. 250 for Level-2. After the completion of training, a test will be conducted by the external National level certifying agency like NIELIT, NIOS, IGNOU, etc. and certificate will be awarded by the certifying body.Study Material (Level 1)
